Firm Foundation Youth Homes is a Christian nonprofit in Arizona providing family-centered homes, alumni support, outreach programs, and caregiver training for children and young adults connected to the foster care system. We believe healing happens in relationships, and our mission is to nurture trust, hope, and stability—one child at a time.
Our Grace-Based, relationship-centered model focuses on connection, consistency, and compassion. Children who were hurt in relationships are best healed in healthy ones. We create a family-like environment where every child feels seen, valued, and supported.
We also implement Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), a trauma-informed approach that equips our team with practical tools to meet each child’s emotional and behavioral needs with understanding and structure.
No. Our commitment does not end at adulthood. We encourage and welcome youth to remain in their home after they turn 18, allowing them to focus on graduating high school rather than simply reaching a birthday milestone. Through our Alumni Program, we continue walking alongside young adults as they step into independence, offering guidance, community, and practical support.
